“I was fortunate enough to meet Jenna through my good friend Katie, and now I can’t imagine life without her. In 2011 we began living together in Southie, and whether we were dancing to music in the kitchen, making gourmet meals, or bargaining “I’ll braid your hair if you paint my nails?” there’s never a dull moment in our friendship. When I moved to Connecticut our bond only strengthened between FaceTime chats and frequent visits. Having lived with her when she began her relationship with Tony, I feel so lucky to have seen their love begin and grow. I’m so happy to stand beside Jenna while she marries the love of her life!”

“I’ve known Tony for almost 20 years now. Although we knew each other in high school, we didn’t become close until after graduation when Jared finally let us hang out. “Tony and Vafa met almost half their lifetime ago and immediately bonded over their love of grilled meats served in and/or on buns, the music of (Arabian rap sensations) Group X and Wesley Willis as well as their ability to fall asleep standing up. Vafa has always looked up to Tony. Mostly on account of the height disparity and Vafa’s tendency towards poor posture, but also because he thinks Tony has as strong a sense of integrity and responsibility as anyone he’s ever met. The first time he met Jenna he told his then girlfriend now fiancé, Katie that he was sure Tony had finally met his match. He is grateful that his favorite hot dog has finally found it’s bun.”

“Although Tony and I sat next to each other playing the sax in band for two years, I don’t think we actually spoke until we ended up in the same class in the seventh grade. We went on to spend our teenage angst years together listening to punk and ska music (ska was cool in the 90s). Even though it’s been over twenty years (I’ll have to check the math on that) we can still share the same sense of humor that made us friends back then. Although I’ve only met Jenna once since we live on opposite coasts, I can see that Tony has met his match. I am thrilled for the two of them and can’t wait to watch them start their life together.”

“I met Tony when we started at Ping around the same time. We were both a little bit different in what was a pretty conservative department at the time. We had a great couple of years living together trying to find the little pieces of culture that Phoenix has pretty well hidden at times. Sometimes we were even successful.

I think the first time I met Jenna was during their visit to Arizona for a friends wedding where they stayed with us and a brand new Aurora. I’m tremendously excited for Tony and Jenna - they’re perfect for each other, and I can’t wait to celebrate with them.”
